At Think, we don’t just create content for clients that changes lives; we create an environment that makes positive change possible, both for our teams and the wider world.

While we may not have the budgets of a larger organisation, you can join any monthly company zoom meeting and be greeted with people with purpose; people who care about the work they do and those around them.

I haven’t been at Think long, but the last year has flown by. I’ve never worked somewhere that I’ve felt so valued, respected, and listened to. I’ve worked on some great campaigns and feel a massive part of the successes that come with this.

The flexibility and trust that come with remote working mean I’m able to live outside of the city in which I work, and can enjoy more of a work/life balance without having to worry about my daily commute. Seeing colleagues get promoted from within and recognised for new positions makes me feel I could never get bored, as there’s always new opportunities right around the corner.

And as if that’s not enough, Think has just been recognised as one of Campaign’s top 100 Best Places to Work in 2023!

This prestigious list, compiled annually, recognises companies that have demonstrated exceptional employee satisfaction, company culture, and overall workplace excellence.

At Think, teams are trusted to manage their time and office attendance, giving everyone the flexibility and autonomy to do our very best work.

Think actively promotes from within and people are encouraged to move into different departments to grow professionally. Training is a priority. If people find a course, they go on it (current favourite: Mini Marketing MBA).

Bringing great people together

Virtual working has been transformative, but we also value connection and collaboration. We hold monthly company meetings, regular leadership check-ins and group dinners.

Teams have budgets for meet-ups and we hold ‘active’ socials, like crazy golf and axe throwing. There’s a football team and we also run a WhatsApp group, where we celebrate birthdays and cheerlead everyone. And who could forget, our legendary summer and winter parties…

Plus, we celebrate each others’ successes. We run annual awards, and our monthly peer-nominated ‘Unsung Hero of the Month’ is a standout favourite.

Promoting wellbeing

You can leave early on Fridays, take extra time on your birthday, see your children on sports day, take a sabbatical… Think offers all employees the chance to have a really healthy work/life balance. Plus, there’s trained Mental Health First Aiders and access to a variety of mental health and wellbeing services on-hand.

Prioritising inclusion and support

Inclusion is important to Think. We have an ED&I taskforce, offer ongoing training, hire apprentices, mentor young talent and work with specialist recruiters – just to name a few things.

We also have a gender-balanced board and nearly 50% of employees are over 40. People love Think so much, they never leave – we’ve just extended our 10-year retention scheme to 20 years!

Through an online platform, WeThrive, Think surveys teams to understand their needs. The findings are then shared, along with practical tips for managers.

Think far outperform industry averages, and our latest survey drove 14 new initiatives, such as allowing people to exercise across the day and giving everyone extra holiday between Christmas and New Year as standard.

Championing community

From sponsoring a children’s football team and organising bake sales to breaking a spinning world record, running supplies to the local food bank and donating to causes every day through advent, charity means a huge amount.
